Stand on Faith
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” ~ 3 John 1:2 (KJV)
finish The Work
“Doing the work. Your keys to living successful.
- Take care of your spiritual health.
- Take care of your family/relationship health.
- Take care of your physical health.
- Take care of your mental health.
- Take care of your financial health.
“There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.” (Proverbs 23:18, NIV)
Focus and Move Forward
During times of mental health crisis take steps to do self-care on a regular basis. Stay in the Word, mediation/quiet time and do something fun or relaxing.
Make It Personal To You
Something to Ponder
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” ~ Albert Einstein
“Leadership is unlocking people’s potential to become better.” ~ Bill Bradley
Reminder: You are your biggest advocate. There is no shame in admitting that you are struggling with an issue. Make things durable to work through your issue. Being a “silent suffer” will only prolong healing. Allow others to help stand in the gap for you, through prayer as you press through. Remember professional help is not the enemy, but a resource when you believe you are not moving forward.
“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)
The possible is not out of reach — Jesus Christ specializes in possibilities.
May the Lord keep you well and bless you abundantly.

Lessons to Heal
First Aid: Mental Health
It is essential to recognize and address concerns to better support men’s mental health and well-being.
A few key factors leading to male mental health issues include:
1. Societal and cultural expectations: Men often face pressure to conform to traditional gender roles, which may discourage them from expressing emotions or seeking help for mental health concerns.
2. Genetics: A family history of mental health disorders can predispose men to conditions such as depression and anxiety.
3. Relationship difficulties: Struggles within romantic, familial, or social relationships can contribute to feelings of isolation, stress, and emotional turmoil.
4. Financial stress: Economic difficulties can create significant stress, potentially leading to anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues.
5. Traumatic experiences: Exposure to violence, abuse, accidents, or other traumatic events can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or other mental health conditions.
By understanding and addressing these factors, we can better support men in navigating the challenges they face and promote activities that lead to positive mental health. Encouraging open conversations, providing resources, and fostering an environment that allows men to seek help without fear of judgment are crucial steps toward a healthier, more empathetic society.
